During this Memorial Day Weekend, the tournament was honored with a special guest.  Medal of Honor recipient Mike Thornton, a retired U.S. Navy SEAL and Vietnam War veteran, joined active duty and retired military members at the Patriots Outpost on #10 fairway.  Thornton’s heroism during a SEAL operation in Vietnam is an amazing story of determination, valor and an unrelenting dedication to his brothers in arms while in combat.  The Charles Schwab Challenge was grateful to have Mike Thornton in our presence today.
