Second-Round Remarks from Keegan Bradley (-6) 68-66--134

Q. How would you assess the day?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I played just great. I had that section sort at the middle where I wasn't hitting any greens, but I was really hitting nice shots. Out here in the wind you can hit great shots and not hit the greens, they're just little, but I was really proud of the way I played.

Q. You said you've been driving the ball better. What have you been working on?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I have just been trying to my regular fundamentals. I've been trending here, playing better. I played really well last week at the PGA. Didn't quite have like an amazing finish, but still played well. I was excited to come here. Everything's shrunken in a little bit. Tough golf course. I just want to say I think the golf course is spectacular. I think what they did here is amazing.

Q. When you play tighter golf courses like this does it make you focus off the tee a little bit more?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Well, I think you have to think a little bit more. Like the second hole is an example. It's short, hitting driver, you can err on that left side in the rough, at least you can hit the green. So you kind of, when you get on the tee, you have to think of those things. The right rough you can't hit the green. I don't know, it's just you got to think your way around here.

Q. The greens are so new, are you surprised how they're playing or do you feel like they're playing well, considering how new they are?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, I've been really impressed. I think it's very rare that you, courses do a redesign and they make the course better. I think they did that here. It's awesome.

Q. Is there a certain, having been on this course, is there a certain thing -- obviously 8's much different -- but other things you notice different that you almost have to erase your memory of what you have done here in the past?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: Yeah, for sure. There's very specific areas that you have to miss on this course off the tee, but especially on the greens. There's some of the spots that you could miss before are no good now, and some of the spots that were no good are better. I think getting to know the course and playing it, but when you're hitting good shots it's easy -- this is a course if you hit good shots you're going to score.

Q. The wind's always a defender here, and it's been a little up and down. What was it like out there today?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: It wasn't as bad as yesterday afternoon, but it's blowing just enough. When it blows a little bit these fairways get a lot smaller.

Q. You talked about playing well last week. Obviously playing well through 36 this week. Do you feel like your game's trending into playing your best golf of the year?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I do, yeah. Driving the ball better, irons are better. Today was the best putting round I've had all year. I haven't been driving the ball and putting it like I think I should, so I do that, things can turn around quickly.

Q. What made it such a great putting round? What were the feels?

KEEGAN BRADLEY: I just made all the putts that you needed to make early in the round. Like the 6-footers for par, 4-footer, I made a 10-footer. Like, those are just, those are the putts you make, if you make, you can keep going. Then, instead of shooting even par, I shoot 4-under, something like that or maybe 1-over, so that was the key.
